Kelly Ripa tells it like it is, and today’s episode of Lives with Kelly and Mark was not the exception.
She and Mark Consuelos welcomed Ayesha Curry to the show, who opened up about expecting her fourth child with her husband and Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry.
“I took off my Crocs for you today,” he joked. “And that’s why it’s a good day!”
Ripa later asked how her last pregnancy was different from her first three, to which Ayesha pointed out that “there are six years between [her] son and this little one.”
“So that’s the biggest gap we’ve ever had,” he explained. “I love being a little older this time. I just feel like there’s a lot more gratitude. “I have the wisdom to pause and take things in.”
Ripa added, “Don’t panic about things,” which Ayesha reiterated.
“There is light at the end of the tunnel,” he added. “It can only last so long. So it has been a really happy and grateful experience.”
Finally, Consuelos noted that “July is a very special month” for Ayesha and the Curry family, which Ayesha confirmed.
“All three kids were born in July, our wedding anniversary is in July,” she shared. “This is changing it. “I don’t think it’s July.”
Ripa chimed in: “I was going to say you have a mating season.”
After a laugh, Ayesha responded, “Looks like it!”
Consuelos chimed in: “I would say yes! At least three of the four times.”
Ayesha stopped by Live argue irish wishthe next Netflix romantic comedy in which she stars alongside her friend Lindsay Lohan, whom she praised for “bringing back romantic comedies.” She also said that she is the godmother of Lohan’s son, teasing that Stephen is her godfather “by proxy.”
“Yes, I’m a godmother, which is very special,” she gushed. “Every time someone honors you and gives you that, first, I say, ‘Thank you,’ because you think I’m a semi-decent father, but second, I’m excited to help raise him and help guide him in the right direction.” .
