monday.com is a cloud-based operating system designed to help you create processes, manage work projects, and monitor overall workflow in an organization. Eliminates much of the manual work required when creating workflows. Additionally, it maintains an archive of previously completed projects that you can access whenever you need them.

The question is, how are those archived projects found?
In this article, we explain how to view archived items on monday.com on multiple devices.
How to view archived items on Monday on a PC
There are three ways to view your archived items using a PC. Two of them work best when you know exactly what archived item you’re looking for, and the other offers a more general way to access an item.
Method No. 1: Access your archived history
This method provides access to the entire file, allowing you to scroll through items until you find the one you are looking for.
- Click on the 3 dot icon at the top right of the screen.

- Select “Dashboard Settings.”

- Click “Archived History.”

- Scroll through the list until you find the item you are looking for.

Method No. 2 – The Search Function
Using the search function allows you to immediately find the archived item based on its name.
- Click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your screen.

- Check the “Search for files” box.

- Enter the name of the archived item and browse the results.
Although this search should give you quick access to your archived item, it is not a perfect solution. Search returns any items that use the terms you enter in the search bar, which means you can get multiple results. Clicking the “Filter by date” button can be helpful if you know when you archived the item. Otherwise, this option is best used when you’re not sure which board you filed the item to.
Method No. 3: Open the entire file
This method gives you access to your entire file so you can scroll through and find the item you’re looking for.
- Click on your profile photo at the bottom left of the screen.

- Select “Archive.”

- Scroll through the list of archived items until you find the one you are looking for.

- Click “View” to view the article.

You can also unarchive items using this method by clicking the “Restore” button next to the archived item entry. You can only do this if you are the owner or administrator of the item you want to restore.
