If you’re an avid user of the Notes app on your iPhone or iPad, you may have deleted important text by mistake at some point. The good thing is that there are many ways to help you undo deleted text from the Notes app and in this article we will show you how.

- At the top of the Notes screen, click the “Pencil” icon, which opens Markup. You will see two arrow icons at the top.

- To undo the last change, click the arrow pointing left. If you want to undo more, continue clicking the arrow.

- The arrow pointing right will undo the last change.

Use three-finger swipe
If you accidentally deleted text in your Note app, you can recover it by swiping left with three fingers. This is another way to undo your last action. This feature also works the same way in other iPhone and iPad apps like Pages. Swiping three fingers to the right will redo everything you previously undid.
Use three-finger double tap
Another way to undo a previous action is to double-tap the screen with three fingers. When you do this, you will see an editing menu that has an arrow pointing left and an arrow pointing right. To undo the last action, tap the arrow pointing left and to redo the last undo action, tap the arrow pointing right.
Shake your iPhone or iPad to undo
Shaking your Apple mobile device can also undo actions. However, you can only undo the last edit you made to your note. If you need to redo the undo operation, shake the device again and choose Redo Write. If you tend to shake your phone a lot and inadvertently undo things you don’t want to undo, you can turn off this feature by going to Settings, Accessibility, Touch and turning off the Shake to Undo feature.
Use a keyboard shortcut
