According to ID, the four-part series pulls back the curtain on an empire built by creator Dan Schneider (All That, The Amanda Show, iCarly, Drake and Josh). “Behind the optimistic on-screen presence of these shows with questionable jokes and exaggerated sketches, Silence on set “reveals an insidious environment rife with accusations of abuse, sexism, racism and inappropriate dynamics with its underage stars and crew.”
