Who will fight in the main event of UFC 300?
The current and former light heavyweight champions will fight in the main event of UFC 300 when Alex Pereira takes on Jamahal Hill.
As confirmed after UFC 298, Brazil’s Pereira will welcome Hill back to the cage following an extended injury absence.
Hill suffered a torn Achilles tendon playing basketball last July, but appears ready to return to Las Vegas on April 13.
The 32-year-old Chicago native has a record of 12-1 (1 NC), but has not fought since defeating Glover Teixera for the vacant title at UFC 283 in January 2023.
Pereira, 36, hopes to exact revenge on his compatriot and training partner Teixera when he faces the hard-hitting American.
Brazilian kickboxing star Pereira has only had seven fights in the UFC, but it has been enough to see him claim titles at middleweight and now light heavyweight.
“Poatan” rose to stardom when he knocked out Israel Adesanya to win the 185-pound belt before “The Last Stylebender” returned the favor in their rematch.
Pereira (9-2) stopped Jiří Procházka in the second round of their vacant title fight in November to add 205-pound gold to his collection.

Justin Gaethje vs. Max Holloway
If ever a fight had hit written all over it, this is surely it.
With Gaethje’s (25-4) “BMF” belt on the line, featherweight great Holloway (25-7) will jump up to 155 pounds to take on “The Highlight” in a fan-pleasing bout.
Zhang Weili (c) vs. Yan Xiaonan
At least one world title fight will feature on the Las Vegas card, with an all-Chinese affair to decide the women’s strawweight championship.
Weili (24-3) looks to record the second defense of her current title when she faces Xiaonan (17-3 (1)).
Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan
Another potential lightweight spectacular, Oliveira (34-9 (1)) and Tsarukyan (21-3), will fight with a 155-pound title shot on the line.
The former Brazilian champion will seek to push back the challenge of the emerging Armenian.
Jiří Procházka vs. Aleksandar Rakić
A high-profile light heavyweight clash between Procházka (29-4-1) and Rakić (14-3) has been decided.
Rakić has not fought since mid-2022, while Procházka hopes to bounce back from his stoppage loss to Alex Pereira.
Calvin Kattar vs. Aljamain Sterling
Former bantamweight champion Sterling (23-4) returns to featherweight for the first time in the UFC, with Kattar (23-7) the man who will welcome him to the pision.

Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison
Two-time Olympic gold medalist (Judo) Harrison (16-1) joined the UFC after establishing her full MMA credentials as a two-time PFL champion.
In her first UFC fight, she will face combat sports legend Holly Holm (15-6 (1)), former boxing and UFC champion.
The winner could immediately enter the fight for the title.
Jim Miller vs. Bobby Green
Miller (37-17 (1)) will become the only fighter to have appeared at UFC 100, UFC 200 and UFC 300 when he takes on the ever-active Bobby Green (31-15-1 (1)) at lightweight.
Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage
Emerging middleweight and former college wrestler Nickal (5-0) looks to continue his rise through the ranks when he takes on Brundage (10-5).
Nickal has been taking shots at many of the best at 185 pounds and this could be his chance to make a statement on a big card.
Sodiq Yussuf vs. Diego Lopes
Ranked featherweight Yussuf (13-3) will take on exciting Brazilian Lopes (23-6) in one of the earlier fights on the card.
Jéssica Andrade vs. Marina Rodríguez
