March Madness is behind us and the 2023-24 NBA season is coming to a close.
That means the 2024 NBA Draft is right around the corner. And related events, including the draft lottery and scouting combine, are even closer, with both taking place in May.
With the college basketball season in the books, the NBA’s top prospects are starting to declare for the draft.
The choice might be easy for a projected top-10 pick like Kentucky’s Rob Dillingham, but other players face more difficult decisions. Take USC star freshman Bronny James, for example. The son of the famous NBA star will test the draft waters, but he also entered the transfer portal and maintains his college eligibility for now.

Early entry candidates for the 2024 NBA Draft
The prospectuses are listed in alphabetical order. Last updated on Friday, April 12 at 3:45 pm ET.
What is early entry?
Players applying for early entry into the 2024 NBA Draft have the opportunity to withdraw their names from consideration before the event.
Under NBA rules, players can retire by June 16, before the start of the draft on June 26. However, per NCAA rules, players must withdraw from the draft by May 29. to maintain your college eligibility.

For the first time in 2024, the NBA Draft will be a two-day event. The first round will be on Wednesday, June 26 and the second round will be on Thursday, June 27. Each night’s coverage will begin at 8 pm ET on ESPN.
