Ramirez turned professional in 2012 and is a former NABF junior welterweight champion. The former Olympic hopeful was on top of the world when he won the WBC super lightweight title in 2018 and the WBO belt in 2019. He lost the belts to Josh Taylor in 2021 and was defeated twice in a unification fight.
Ramírez has since bounced back, winning two straight in Fresno against José Pedraza and Richard Commey. “Jaguar” looks to continue his winning streak at home under the leadership of Golden Boy Promotions as he attempts to climb back into title contention.
“I’m ready to be a two-time world champion and do it right now, as well as staying active this year,” he said. Ramirez. “I felt like Oscar and Golden Boy could offer both right away, plus some big fights at this point in my career that I want. This is the most motivated I’ve been since turning pro.”

Barthelemy turned professional in 2009. The Cuban fighter won the IBF super featherweight title in 2014 and the IBF lightweight belt in 2015. As of 2018, he is 4-2-1 and has a 2-1 in his last three fights. It will be the first “Kid Blast” fight since May 2023.
The co-main event will be undefeated knockout artist Vergil Ortiz Jr. against Thomas Dulorme. Ortiz has sought to stay active and healthy after a rhabdomyolysis diagnosis canceled several fights. Dulorme is a former world title contender who ended a three-fight losing streak in his last fight in July 2022.
