The horror anthology series. Them received an order for two seasons of main video in 2018 with the first season premiering in 2021 and the second on April 25, 2024. Now that both seasons have premiered, will there be more?

Jugo Mobile spoke to the show’s creator Little Marvin ahead of the release of season 2. When asked about the prospects for a third season, he was all for it.

“I have 1000% hopes and dreams,” little Marvin said of a possible renewal of the season. “I would love to move forward. So let’s see.”

Series star Deborah Ayorinde, who returned to the show to play a new character in season 2 after her breakout role as Livia “Lucky” Emory in season 1, also expressed interest in returning for a third season.

“Short answer: Absolutely,” Ayorinde told Jugo Mobile in a separate interview. “I do not know what [Little Marvin] “He’s going to do it, but I’m here for anything he can think of.”

When season 1 premiered, the show had a mixed reception due to its graphic racial violence and family scares. However, Little Marvin defends the series, saying: “I can say with absolute clarity that we are 1000% referring to the show that we made. I’m proud of that show. “I am proud of their bravery.”

But Little Marvin holds no grudges toward critics and, given the anthological nature of the series, encourages them to return for the second season. “Whether you liked the first season or not, this is a standalone season and you can enjoy [Season 2] on their own terms,” he said.

Season 2, titled Them: the scaretakes place in Los Angeles County in 1991 and follows LAPD Detective Dawn Reeve (Ayorinde) as she investigates the violent murder of a foster mother and struggles with community resistance to the police force following the assault of the black activist.
