As event coordinators for Lisa Vanderpump at Château Rosabelle, Villa Vanderpump Stars Gabriella Sanon and Stephen Alsvig have brought another adorable dynamic duo to the reality show. But they are not always busy executing Vanderpump’s lavish vision for the castle guests. In fact, Alsvig has proven to be the “best roommate” when it comes to Sanon’s steamy date with co-star Andre Mitchell.
Sanon and Mitchell’s slow romance is finally in full swing, and they don’t care who knows it. While Vanderpump wondered if the duo was aware that the world would see them “fucking each other” on camera, Sanon admitted that she has no regrets. “At the end of the day, this is what I signed up for and it’s a part of life. Everyone does it every day. So let’s enjoy it. We are in the south of France! he told DECIDE before Hulurelease of episode 7, titled “A Divorce Party”.
Alsvig, for his part, shares a room with Sanon. And while she can usually drown out the sounds of her encounter with Mitchell with the help of some Ambien, there was “one time” when she forgot to take her sleeping pill. “I did my best to stay still,” he recalled, joking that viewers were “lucky” there wasn’t another gay or bisexual staff member because, in that case, he and Sanon “would have both been in beds bumping into each other.” hands”. from the other side of the room.”
In a new interview with DECIDER, Alsvig also cleared up details about her feud with castle steward Eric Funderwhite, while Sanon opened up about Hannah Fouch and Telly Hall’s bad girl behavior in episode 6. Additionally, the duo revealed what three co-stars would bring. Return to Château Rosabelle if they had the green light for a second season.

DECIDER: What’s it like having Lisa Vanderpump as your boss?
GABRIELLA SANÓN: When I got the call I really couldn’t believe it. And being a woman in this space, it’s really nice to work with her, especially because she really tried to let us know, like, “Listen, guys, I’m not her boss. “I’m your mentor in this.” So it was really nice to work with her, learn from her and just watch her move through a space. She definitely expanded my knowledge.
STEPHEN ALSVIG: For me, it has been a journey of evolution because I have called her my boss at Caesars in Las Vegas for five years. It was more corporate, strictly my boss. I had to get used to really seeing her as that mentor person in my life. But you’ll see as the season goes on and you’ll see even on my social media how my view of her and my relationship with her has evolved. It’s also a friendship that I love having, but I look up to her a little differently than she used to and it’s been exciting to be able to experience that.

Stephen, there was a lot of tension between you and Eric in the first half of the season. How justified did you feel when Lisa criticized you for his inappropriate behavior and allowed her to start taking his place?
SA: I felt very vindicated. But one thing I would definitely like to clarify with everyone who has asked these types of questions is that I was not looking for Eric because of what his job was. He was after Eric so we all – including himself – thought it was his job. He was the administrator of the castle estate. He should have been digging trenches, unclogging toilets, fixing window sills, all that kind of stuff. But he heard the word “manager” and thought, “Let me manage the staff.” And that was never the case. We were all equal. So my mindset definitely went back to, “Let me focus on my events with Gabriella. We’re already killing it in the game. So why am I looking for something else?
Gabriella, I love this budding romance between you and Andre. What attracted you to him? And where are you today?
GS: I want everyone to watch the full season before we put everything aside, but definitely, as you can see, Andre is an amazing guy. We’re starting to connect, so I’ll let the show unfold on its own and you guys will have to watch it.
I’m rooting for you guys!
SA: I am a third wheel forever. It’s been fun.
Gabriella, that scene between you and Lisa when she finds out about you and Andre is so good. In her confessional, Lisa says: “They’re fucking in bed…do you know the world could be watching? Looking back, do you regret connecting on camera?
GS: Not at all. At the end of the day, this is what I signed up for and it’s a part of life. Everyone does it every day. So let’s enjoy it. We are in the south of France!

Stephen, you were right next to them! Was Ambien really that strong? Or did you find yourself squishing your head between two pillows?
SA: There was only one time I didn’t take the Ambien and they didn’t tell me. And so I did my best to stay still. And then I remember getting up and thinking, “Okay, there’s no moors on the coast.” And I accidentally closed the door. She thought he was really angry, but I said, “No, I just wanted to give them space from her.”
GS: But here’s the thing. So everyone needs to know that Stephen and I are exactly the same when it comes to all that, so we’re on the same page. We’re ok. We were the best roommates.
SA: The world is lucky there wasn’t another gay or bisexual staff member, because we would have both been on the beds high-fiving each other from across the room.
Gabriella, Hannah and Telly were so mean to you and you after finding out about you and Andre. Why do you think they cared so much when Grace Cottrell didn’t? And how did it make you feel to see them talking about you when you looked at them?
GS: I definitely think at the time it was more of a jealousy thing, you know, something to be angry about. Honestly, I couldn’t tell you. It’s like something I can’t even register because my brain isn’t wired like that. But that’s what it is. I think Grace… Grace understood that, “Hey, we’ve been here for two weeks. “He’s not my man.” I have no loyalty to anyone at this time. You know what I mean? And my goodness, did I give her the grace to be respectful of the fact that she said, “Oh, I like it.” Then I took a step back. I had my little thing with Dan and then I called it a day. Obviously, there will be more and that will unfold as you watch. Then you’ll see how it all unfolds.
When I heard what they said, I thought, “Do we still talk like that?” It was so bad.
GS: It’s a bit excessive. I am very sex positive. I’m very much like loving who you love, being with whoever you want to be with. Of course, there are limits. But I think it was very in line.
Stephen, in episode 7 you mention that Hannah and Marciano are “the beast.” Do you think they have a chance of staying together long term?
SA: I think once Hannah gets to the point where she puts herself first and can be truly happy loving herself and happy for herself, Marciano will realize, “I’m really not needed here. I need to be a strong man and treat her the way she needs to be treated as a woman.” Especially in the year 2024. We are no longer in the 1950s. Misogyny is over. So I think once Hannah gets to that point and Marciano realizes it and grows up, I think they’ll have a chance. But if they continue as before, as you have seen, no, it will not last long.

We are approaching the end of season 1. If you had the chance, would you work at Château Rosabelle again? And if you could, which three co-workers would you like to bring with you?
SA: Yes. This one [Sanon]. Partners in crime right here. Like two peas in a pod. For my mental health, I need to watch Chef Anthony as often as possible. And since we’ve really grown a lot outside of the show, more than I expected, I’d like to bring Hannah back.
GS: Obviously I would 100% bring Steven. And then he would bring Grace. She was one of the hardest workers there, she is passionate and kind. She is the best. And then she would bring Telly because we need alcohol. I need the vibrations. As people can probably see on social media, she and I are pretty close now. She brings energy, especially when guests are around. So that’s my first choice.
What can you tease about the second half of the season?
SA: Expect the unexpected safely in some situations. And get ready to see a journey with each and every one of us. There will be growth for each and every one of us.
GS: There’s going to be a very, very heated debacle with a nice view. So get ready for that. It should be a lot of fun for viewers to watch. Ultimately, it’s a beautiful journey that everyone has been watching, so I’m sure everyone will enjoy it.
