After taking first place in the Western Conference on the final day of the regular season, Oklahoma City quickly moved on from their first-round matchup, sweeping New Orleans in four games. MVP candidate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander averaged a team-high 27.2 points, while sensation Jalen Williams contributed 21.3 points per game.

Chet Holmgren, meanwhile, filled the stat sheet, averaging 15.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game.

Dallas defeated a veteran Clippers team in six games, ending the series with a triumphant 114-101 victory in Game 6. The Mavericks stymied Los Angeles with suffocating defense, holding the Clippers under 100 points in three of the six games.

Luka Doncic (29.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 9.5 assists) and Kyrie Irving (26.5 points) showed off their exceptional playmaking ability, with Irving dazzling in a 30-point performance to finish off the Clippers.

The teams met four times during the regular season, and Oklahoma City won three of those meetings.
