Although Roblox is a very popular gaming platform and creation system enjoyed by millions of people, its homepage design leaves a lot to be desired. There have been many attempts to improve the themes of the Roblox site and Dark Mode is another of these improvements.

How to Enable Dark Mode for Roblox on PC

Enabling the Dark Mode theme on PC is a very simple process. As long as you already have a Roblox account, you can do this with just a few clicks. Instructions for doing so are below:

1. Open your Roblox account.
   
2. Open the settings page. It’s the gear icon at the top right of the page.
   
3. Scroll down until you see Theme. It’s right above the social media menus.
   
4. Click the drop-down arrow and choose Dark.
   
5. Click Save.
   
6. Your Roblox page should now display the dark theme. To return to Light, repeat the instructions but choose Light instead.

How to enable dark mode for Roblox on an iPhone

Enabling the dark theme for the iOS version of Roblox is quite similar to the PC version, as it really only affects the browser and not the game. The instructions are as follows:

1. Open your Roblox app.
   
2. Tap the three dots icon at the bottom right of your screen.
   
3. Scroll down and find Settings. Touch it.
   
4. Click Account Information.
   
5. Scroll down until you find Theme. Tap the text box below. In the pop-up window, tap Dark.
   
6. Tap Save to keep your changes.
   
7. Your Roblox app should now be in dark mode.

How to Enable Dark Mode for Roblox on an Android Device

The process to enable Dark Mode on Android is similar to that on iOS. It really only changes the browser and not the app itself, so the mobile platform doesn’t matter. Follow the instructions provided in the iPhone version above.

Changing your Roblox themes with style

Elegant is a browser theme changer that allows users to modify the appearance of the web pages they visit, including the Roblox site. Available for both Chrome and Firefox, anyone can now customize the appearance of their profile to match their personality. To change your themes using Stylish, follow the instructions below:

Install the elegant plugin.

In Chrome

1. Go to the fancy Chrome store website.
2. Click add to Chrome.
3. In the pop-up window that appears, click Add Extension.
4. You will be shown the stylish home page. There is the option to tell Stylish the URLs you visit to suggest topics for the websites you frequent. This is checked by default. If you do not want to provide that information, clear the check box and then click Next.
5. You can close the window now or choose a theme for Chrome. Installing Roblox themes will be detailed below.

In Firefox

1. Open the stylish Firefox browser add-ons page.
2. Click the +Add to Firefox button.
3. In the pop-up window, click Add.
4. A pop-up window will show that Stylish has been added to the extensions. You can choose to allow Stylish to run in private Windows, select the checkbox if you agree, or simply click OK, got it.
5. You will be shown a page where you can allow Stylish to access the URLs of the websites you visit so that it can suggest styles for these pages. These are disabled by default. If you want to turn them on, click the switch next to each option. You can also click the Enable All button at the bottom. Once you’re done, click Next.
6. You can now close the window or browse the available styles.

Choose themes

1. Open your Chrome or Firefox browser.
2. Proceed to Elegant
3. In the search box at the top of the site, make sure the category is set to Website, then type Roblox.
4. Press Enter or click the magnifying glass icon.
5. After a short wait, you will be shown a selection of the styles that are available. Scroll down to view page topics and use the left and right buttons to go back or forward a page. Alternatively, you can click on a number to go to that album page.
6. Once you find a theme you like, click on the image of that theme.
7. You will be directed to a page containing the details of the topic. Read them if you wish. If you’re done, click Install Style.
8. Although after clicking the button will instantly change to Installed Style, it will take a while for the changes to load. Please wait until the cursor has stopped its loading animation before exiting this page.
9. You can install multiple styles if you want, but only one can be enabled at a time. To change the active style, click the extension or plugin icon in your browser. If you can’t see the icon, you can find it in the settings menu. They are:
   In Chrome
   1. Click on the Settings icon on the rightmost part of the screen, this is the three dots icon.
   2. Hover over More Tools in the menu.
   3. Click Extensions.
   4. Scroll to and find Style and then click Details.
   5. Scroll down and click Extension Options.
   In Firefox
   1. Click Settings, this is the three lines icon on the right side of the screen.
   2. Click Plugins.
   3. In the left menu, click Extensions.
   4. Find Elegant and then click the three dots icon.
   5. Choose and click Options.
10. From the style options page, you will see all the currently installed themes. If everyone is active, the topic above will take priority. If you want to select a different theme, click the Active button on all other themes to deactivate them.
11. To delete a topic, click Delete.

Other profile settings

Themes aren’t the only thing about your profile that you can change on the Roblox page, there are many other details that you can edit as you see fit. Below are some of these settings that you can modify to ensure that your Roblox profile is completely customized to your tastes.

The basic information box

Clicking your avatar icon on the home page will open the basic information page. In the Creations tab you will see all the games you have created and in the About tab you will see your entire avatar along with all the items it is currently wearing. To change the appearance of your avatar, you can open the Avatar Editor. To do this:

1. Click any inventory item in the About tab.
2. Click the Avatar Editor button. This is the person icon on the right side of the item inventory panel.
3. Here you will see all the styles that are available to you. A good number of them are free, although some cost Robux. Robux is the currency of the Roblox app.
4. Choose a style you like and click on it to apply the changes instantly. Edits are saved automatically, and when you leave this page, your avatar should automatically reflect any customizations made.

Change your status and personal advertising

You can leave messages on your profile, either your current status or a brief personal description, so that anyone who visits your personal page knows a little information about you. To edit them:

1. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
2. Choose Settings.
3. Under Personal, type your brief description in the text box. It is good web browsing practice not to provide information that could allow people to identify you personally. Be careful with the data you decide to reveal.
4. Once done, scroll down and click Save.

Change current status

1. Click on your avatar icon.
2. Click the three dots in the upper right corner of your avatar banner.
3. Choose Update Status.
4. Type your current status in the text box.
5. Click Save.
6. Your status should now be displayed just below your username.

Add social networks

Roblox also has the option to allow you to connect to multiple social media accounts you may have. If you have a Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Twitch page, you can set them up so that anyone who visits your profile page can see them. To do this:

1. Open the Settings menu by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner.
2. Click Settings.
3. In the Account Information tab, scroll down until you find the Social Networking part.
4. Write down the address of each of your social media pages. You can open them in a separate tab and then copy and paste the address bar if you want.
5. Choose whether you want these links to be visible to Everyone, Friends, Followers, or Nobody.
6. Click Save when you’re done.

Roblox not only allows you to create worlds where you can let your imagination run wild, but it also gives you the ability to customize your profile however you see fit.
