The 2024 NBA Finals will feature a battle between a championship favorite and an underdog led by arguably the best player in the league.
After advancing through the NBA playoff standings, the Celtics and Mavericks will collide in what should be an exciting championship series. Boston defeated Miami, Cleveland and Indiana on their way to the NBA Finals, while the Mavs eliminated the Clippers, Thunder and Timberwolves to secure their spot.
The Celtics have been dominant throughout the regular season and playoffs, compiling a 76-20 record and establishing themselves as the team to beat. They managed to win the previous two rounds without Kristaps Porzingis, who is expected to return for the NBA Finals after suffering a calf injury.
But Boston will face its toughest test of the postseason when it faces Dallas. Luka Doncic has been phenomenal for the Mavericks, averaging 28.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 steals in 17 playoff games. He hopes to lead the Mavs to their first title since 2011.
