The final season of The Ultimate Fighter has arrived and it is expected to be another entertaining season. Will we have any viral moments during episode one? With her rivals Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko training, anything is possible.
Grasso is the current UFC flyweight champion and defeated Shevchenko following an upset in March 2023 to end a reign that began in 2018 for the latter. In a rematch on Mexican Independence Day last September, they fought to a draw in which many posted different scores, with members of the media pided over who won.
As is tradition, the trainers will fight each other after the end of The Ultimate Fighter. A date for the trilogy has not yet been announced, but Grasso and Shevchenko could face each other at The Sphere in Las Vegas on September 14. That may depend on how this season goes.
“I’ve seen some memos about what the fight could look like inside that venue. It looks amazing,” Grasso said. CBS Sports. “I would love to fight there. I hope this is true and I hope we can have this great opportunity to perform and perform on The Sphere. I think our work here on ‘TUF’ will be important to that decision.”
The Ultimate Fighter will feature men’s featherweights and middleweights this season. The winner will get a contract with the UFC. Last season, when Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler Trained, Brad Katona defeated Cody Gibson at UFC 292 to earn a contract. However, both fighters ended up signing.
