The second half of the Professional Fighters League regular season is underway. The women’s heavyweights and flyweights take over Connecticut, with the top pision featuring Valentin Moldavsky against Linton Vassell 3 in the main event.
Moldavsky is a former Bellator interim heavyweight champion. The three-time sambo gold medalist defeated Ante Delija by technical knockout in his PFL debut. He currently leads the heavyweight pision with six points.
Vassell was a multiple-time contender for the Bellator light heavyweight title, going 0-2 for gold. He was on a five-fight winning streak before losing his first fight in the PFL in April. “The Swarm” has ten wins by knockout and eight by submission.
The two fought twice with Bellator, with Moldavsky winning by decision in 2019 and Vassell winning by knockout in 2023. With a lot on the line now with the PFL, Vassell is looking for his first win and points under the PFL banner.
“When we fight [the first time]that was my first heavyweight fight for Bellator,” Vassell said. Shepherd dog. “When we fight [the second time]Obviously I ended up with a knockout and it was pretty quick, so I know that’s on his mind. I know he’ll be thinking about that when we fight. I have all the confidence in the world. I know how good I am.”

The prelims for 2024 PFL 4, starting at 5:30 pm ET, will air on ESPN+.
The prelims will feature PFL heavyweight tournament contender Denis Goltsov against former UFC light heavyweight title contender Thiago Santos. A win is needed for Santos, who is 1-6 with one no-contest in his last eight fights. Also in the preliminaries will be former title contender Taila Santos, Timothy Johnson and former Bellator champion Juliana Velasquez.
