Canada’s inaugural America’s Cup race begins against the defending World Cup and America’s Cup champions.
Canada will face Argentina in the first match of Group A of the Copa América 2024. The match will take place at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, in Atlanta, Georgia. Canada will also face Peru and Chile in Group A matches in Kansas City, Kansas, and Orlando, Florida, respectively.
It will be another big test for Les Rouges after a disappointing performance at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they lost all three of their group matches. It is the first opportunity for new coach Jesse Marsch to see his players as well before the 2026 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Canada.
