Hannah Berner, former star of the popular Bravo reality show Summer househas officially set the date for his first comedy special with Netflix.The special, titled We ride at dawnIt will premiere on the platform on July 9.
The special was filmed at The Fillmore Philadelphia in March of this year. Berner selected the place herself and told him Variety in January that he remembers that the place was a beautiful place with incredible crowds that “know how to have a good time.”
Berner left Summer house in 2021 after three seasons on the show to focus on his career as a comedian. When Berner initially announced his departure he said to bravo“Making people laugh is what gives me joy.”
Berner explained that he gave him the special name We ride at dawn thanks to the community that supported her since she began her career in comedy, according to Deadline.
“I love empowering them.” [her community] and help them forget their problems for at least an hour,” he said.
The comedian wrote and co-produced the special with Kyle Kazanjian-Amory, Marissa Gallant, Brett Kushner and Ryan Polito.
“This is probably the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me,” Berner said. Variety about the special. “I’m in love with Time I’ve been on tour for a while now and I’m honored that Netflix wants to show the silly parts of me. “I’m excited for my standup to reach a wider audience and celebrate the community of badass women and boyfriends, moms and scared zaddies that got me to this point.”
Berner is currently touring his solo comedy show throughout America and Europe, which will conclude in August. However, he won’t be on tour for long. In September he will launch Giggly Squad live: Club Gigglya comedy tour of North America that Berner will carry out with his ex Summer house co-star, Paige DeSorbo.
In addition to his comedy tours, Berner performs his popular Laughing Squad and Berner Telephone podcasts. It also features a video series titled They are in the street, which has obtained millions of views.
“Hopefully the show will make everyone cry with laughter and forget all their problems for 60 minutes,” Berner said, according to Variety. “I also hope they leave feeling empowered and not taking life too seriously. That is the goal.”
