Argentina Copa América with the most goals and appearances
As expected, Messi is the player with the most appearances for Argentina in the Copa América, as he aims to break more records in 2024.
Messi overtook Chilean Sergio Livingstone to claim the appearance record with 35 appearances played in the Copa América in seven tournaments with his 90 minutes against Canada in the opening match of the Copa América 2024.
The Inter Miami star also has 13 goals in the Copa América, on par with Argentine greats Gabriel Batistuta and Juan Manuel Moreno. Norberto Méndez leads the way at 17.
