Panama will look to continue surprising in the 2024 Copa América when it faces Colombia in the quarterfinals.
After losing their opening match of the tournament 3-1 to a fiery Uruguay, Panama fought back to spring a surprise on host nation USA, rallying to secure a 2-1 victory.
A comfortable 3-1 win over Bolivia allowed them to take second place in Group C and book their place in the knockout round of the Copa América for the first time.
Colombia, meanwhile, have advanced to this stage for the sixth consecutive time in the Copa America, after finishing at the top of Group D with seven points from three games.
After winning their first two group stage matches against Paraguay and Costa Rica by a combined score of 5-1, Los Cafeteros salvaged a 1-1 draw against South American giants Brazil to maintain their position at the top, extending their unbeaten streak to 26 games under coach Néstor Lorenzo.
