Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell may have won two Oscars together, but most of all, they’re brother and sister.
In Tuesday’s episode of The hot ones versusThe star siblings were forced to rehash their “biggest argument” while working on their latest album. Hit me hard and soft. Finneas made a cheerful confession, noting that he “put [his] “I spend a lot of time with my feet on the desk.”
Eilish confirmed that her brother “is often barefoot” and “often in really dirty shoes,” as she proceeded to demonstrate what that looks like, with her legs spread out on the table towards him.
“My face is there,” he explained. “In fact, we filmed so much while making the album that almost all the footage is her feet and then me.”
Finally, O’Connell cited that their “longest and largest discussion” took place “during a transition period in perhaps both [theor] Live where [they] “We were just trying to be a little honest.”
“To be fair, I was very arrogant and I was like, ‘You’re not being honest or authentic enough,’ and you were creating such beautiful melodies and such cool cadences that by the time we had the lyrics down, everything else was already done,” he told Eilish. “So I learned a lot about not being too self-centered in that process.”
Eilish responded: “Aww, I love that.”
Prior to the album’s release on May 17, her single “Birds of a Feather” appeared on Netflix‘s Stop the heart Season 3 teaser, which revealed that the show’s third installment will arrive on October 3. The two have won two Oscars together for their songs “No Time To Die” (There is no time to die) and “What was I created for?”, (Barbie), which O’Connell considered his favorite song of his sister’s.
“There’s something so tender and heartbreaking about that song. I have such fond memories of writing it, and we were able to play it for that whole year,” she recalled. “And it brought us to our senses.” Barbie “It was a really fun group to be a part of, they were all really nice and cool people.”
