Years have passed since then Dance Moms is over, but it looks like we’re still living it up on the dance floor as we head back to the bar with Hulu’s new show. Dance Moms: A New Era.

The streaming service announced Tuesday that the 10-episode reboot will feature “a new coach, new dancers and new mom drama.”

Hulu also released a trailer, which features “beloved dance coach Glo Hampton, who wants to take her students and the prestigious dance school Studio Bleu to the next level by competing nationally every week.”

“This is going to be the biggest challenge of my career,” she says in the trailer. “I’m the coach of the next great team. I can replace anyone at any time.”

However, according to Hulu’s announcement, “the road to glory won’t be easy.”

“Coach Glo must juggle her tiny but mighty dancers, their scheming mothers, and the resulting breakdowns, all while ruling with a tender but tough iron fist,” the synopsis continues. “Will Glo and her dance crew persevere amidst the drama?”

The Lifetime original reality series ran for eight seasons, led by Abby Lee Miller and her eponymous dance company. Cast members Chloe Lukasiak, Jojo Siwa, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker, and Brooke and Paige Hyland, as well as their mothers, appeared in Dance Moms: The Reuniona special that aired on Lifetime in May.

Lukasiak met with DECIDER ahead of the reunion and explained that she felt “really relieved” and “grateful” to have returned for the special.

“What I saw was that I was honest with myself and I thought that if I didn’t do it, they would probably talk about who wasn’t there, so your name would come up anyway. So at least if you did it, you were in control of the narrative. Not ‘narrative control,’ but I was there to experience it with everyone and remember the times we had together, and express my gratitude for everything it gave us. So I’m really happy I did it.”

Produced by A+E Factual Studios for Hulu and Lifetime, Dance Moms: A New Era see the return of Dance Moms Executive producer Bryan Stinson will be joined by executive producers Sharon Scott, Steve Ascher, Kristy Sabat, Allie Breslin and Natalie Feldman. Lifetime brings in executive producers Kimberly Chessler and Brie Miranda Bryant.

So how will this reboot compare to the flagship series? Dance Moms Former student Jill Vertes has already taken to the comments section of Hulu Instagram Adwriting, “Dance moms, let’s see what you got?”
