Bronny James and the Lakers have arrived in Las Vegas for the NBA 2K25 Summer League.
After going 0-3 in the California Classic Summer League in San Francisco, the Lakers will look to add to their stint in Las Vegas. James, who missed the second of LA’s three games in the Bay Area, worked through a sore knee to make his impact felt on the defensive end in the team’s final game.
Now that the stage has shifted to Las Vegas, LA opens with a primetime matchup against third overall pick Reed Sheppard and the Rockets. Will James make his Las Vegas Summer League debut against Houston?

James is expected to play when the Lakers face the Rockets.
After seeing 22 minutes of action in his summer debut, James missed LA’s second game with knee soreness. He returned to the lineup on Wednesday to finish with two points, five rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes on the court.
With no apparent setbacks in his second appearance, James appears ready for his debut in front of a large crowd in Las Vegas.
