Good morning, fellow Bachelor Nation members! Or should we say good night?

After High schoolIn the historic season 21 premiere of Devin Drama™, Jenn Tran and her 18 remaining guys headed to Australia for the season’s first one-on-one date, two group dates, and plenty of Devin Drama™.

As the group explored Australia and got to know their female lead a little better, real feelings began to emerge, tensions began to rise, and insults began to fly. The two-hour episode gave us snakes (a reptilian one! a human one!), skyping, another emotional intelligence fight, plenty of romance, and so much more.

Wondering who got the first one-on-one date of the season with Jenn Tran? Who got the group date roses? How “Budget Pete Davidson” became the guys’ number one enemy? And who went home during Week 2 ofHigh schoolJugo Mobile Season 21 Episode 2 Recap has you covered.

Here’s everything you missed, including the men who make it to Episode 3 and go “koala-fy” as potential husbands.

High school First Group Date Recap: Devin and Barbie at the Movies

For the first group date of the season, Jenn invited eight of her boyfriends (Sam N., Marvin, Brian, Jonathon, Aaron, Grant, Jeremy, and Devin) to explore Melbourne with her. The group headed to Queen Victoria Market to try (and hate!) Vegemite, a whiskey and kangaroo testicle shot, and more Aussie classics, but the fun was cut short when Devin took Jenn away for a private ice cream date, making the rest of the guys (especially Aaron) feel disrespected.

To lighten the mood, Jenn took her friends to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and gave them 10 minutes to write down some witty lines to perform on stage. After all, laughter is the key to her heart! Sadly, the plan backfired when the date turned into a spoof of Devin. The seven men called him everything from “ugly” and “liar” to “cheap Pete Davidson.” (I’m sure Pete Davidson would really like to be banned from the party.) High school Narrative of Season 21, one he never asked to be a part of).

At the first group date after-party, Jenn strengthened connections with guys like Jonathon and Grant, but the night was largely overshadowed by drama between Devin and Aaron. Still frustrated by Devin turning the group date into a one-on-one, Aaron pulled Devin aside, accidentally called him Dylan, and then questioned his intentions with Jenn. Devin’s response? “I can’t wait for you to come to our wedding.” Burn. Later in the night, Devin interrupted Aaron’s time by bringing Jenn a bowl of ice cream as a reminder of their group date adventure, and the vibes between the guys were never the same. An “upset” Aaron interrupted Devin’s time, then Devin came back to steal Jenn away again, prompting the season 21 lead to say, “I don’t love that Aaron and Devin are fighting right now.” As predicted, neither came up with a stalk. Instead…

Who received the rose? The first group date of the season went to Grant, who was drama-free.

Jenn Tran and Marcus ShobergSingle’s Quote Summary: Falling in Love (at 15,000 Feet)

Jenn had already said she was afraid of heights, so for their first one-on-one date she wanted to pick someone who could calm her down when she went… skyping! She decided that Marcus, a 31-year veteran of the Army National Guard from Raleigh, North Carolina, was the man for the job. And she chose correctly, because the man had already jumped out of several planes before! Once the two lovebirds were back on the ground, Jenn was committed to helping Marcus overcome his fear of being vulnerable. When they met up later that night for a romantic dinner at the State Library, Marcus explained, “I wasn’t always the strong, confident, assertive person that I am today. It took a lot of work for me to become that kind of man.”

Marcus told Jenn that during his eight years of service as an Army Ranger he had a near-death experience that completely changed his outlook on life. His job was to go on raids in the middle of the night, and during his last deployment in Afghanistan he was severely injured by a grenade and spent months in the hospital wearing a breathing tube, receiving surgeries, and even learning to walk again. “That’s my life before and after that moment. I’m now very aware of the fragility of life. Stepping back from that experience, I want to live a life worth saving and I want it to be as full of love as humanly possible,” Marcus explained, shedding a few tears. Jenn told him he was very resilient and that she appreciated his vulnerability. After giving him the rose alone, she even told the cameras that she could see him being her “forever person.”

Did Marcus receive a rose? You bet!

High school Summary of group date 2: “Hakeem is not feeling well”

Next up? Jenn’s nine remaining boys headed to Torquay in Victoria, Australia for an unexpected wildlife photo shoot. For those wondering, yes, the date included pet portrait entrepreneur Spencer, who was in his glory the whole time. After the boys changed into outback explorer gear, they each met up with Jenn for a photo shoot and were paired with Australian wildlife… for better or worse. Sam M got a monitor lizard named Blue. Spencer got an owl. And Hakeem, who shouldn’t have mentioned he was scared of spiders, got a… well, you know. He didn’t take kindly to crawling and repeatedly screamed “Don’t put that shit around my neck!” until a handler saved him. And before the day portion of the date was over, Dylan, a 24-year-old medical student from Elk Grove, California, walked over to take a photo with Jenn and a massive snake. For his “A+ attitude,” he was rewarded with a romantic one-on-one dinner while the rest of the guys were sent home early.

Dylan made the most of his alone time with Jenn and broke down her walls, telling her that his parents got married within six months of them meeting, that he felt insecure in the boy group, and that he had been a very shy boy as a child. While the two bonded over shared values, all eight boys returned from their photo shoot and asked to spend more time with Jenn at the pre-rose ceremony party to make up for their abbreviated date. The request was obviously directed at Devin, who agreed to respect the group. Did he? Buckle up, folks.

Who received the rose? The second group date of the episode was a drama-free one for Dylan.

High schoolCocktail Party Recap Season 21 Episode 2: Devin Strader vs. the World

High school Episode 2 of Season 21 started off with a tease of a fight between Devin and Thomas N., which, considering Devin spent the entire episode arguing with Aaron, made no sense at the time. However, by the end of the episode, it was clear that there was still a lot of hate towards Devin!

Before the party, Aaron sat Devin down and told him he didn’t think he was right for Jenn. “I see you as an abuser,” Aaron explained before giving him a book on personal development and emotional intelligence that he’d brought with him on the trip. Devin didn’t like the “passive-aggressive” gesture, and when the party started, he surprised the group by stealing Jenn away immediately after the toast. While Aaron was once again upset, Thomas N. took the display of disrespect the hardest and stormed in to interrupt Devin and Jenn’s time together, stealing Devin away for a shouting match in the other room, which Jenn overheard. (Iconic twist.)

Devin gave Thomas N his time, but when Jenn found out what the fight was about, she didn’t necessarily side with the guys on the group date. “You guys are making decisions for me. You’re taking away my independence,” she said. “We all need to be respectful of each other.” Thomas and Devin took their fight outside later in the night, but absolutely nothing was resolved before the rose ceremony.
