Bronny James turned in a second straight solid performance in Summer League play, helping the Lakers to their second straight win.
James scored 13 points in Thursday’s 93-89 win over the Cavaliers, topping his career-high of 12 points set on Wednesday. He was effective from the start once again, scoring efficiently from all three levels.
The 19-year-old guard also rose to the occasion in the final quarter. The Lakers took the lead with five minutes remaining after his basket, and two minutes later he scored a step-back three-pointer to reduce the deficit.
The Lakers have made it to the Summer League playoffs, so James will have at least one more outing to showcase his talent. Los Angeles plays on Saturday, July 20 against the Bulls.

James had a solid first half, scoring eight points, three assists and two rebounds in 13 minutes.
Early in the first quarter, he made a nice pass fake for a mid-range jumper and then provided an assist to Dalton Knecht.
