Regarded as one of Europe’s standout talents during his time at Ajax, Antony scored 24 goals and contributed 22 assists in 82 appearances, paving the way for a move to Old Trafford in the summer of 2022.
However, the Brazilian has struggled to justify his lofty £85.5m ($110m) price tag, managing just 11 goals and five assists in 82 games.
Last season, the 24-year-old started just 15 of his 29 Premier League appearances, registering just two goal involvements.
Despite having at least three years left on his contract, Antony has recently been rumoured to be considering a loan move away from Old Trafford. It has also been reported that the Red Devils are open to loaning the Brazil international out this summer, as long as his wages are covered.

Antony’s agent talks Manchester United future
However, Junior Pedroso, the agent representing the United winger, has dismissed the rumours, stating that his client intends to remain at the club beyond the transfer window despite speculation surrounding his future.
He told Fabrizio Romano: “I see reports of a possible loan move. Antony’s plan is clear: Manchester United.
“He wants to stay, he is only focused on Manchester United. We have already spoken about that with the club.”
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has also backed the 24-year-old’s fine form, insisting he is “convinced” Antony has the potential to thrive at Old Trafford.
Ten Hag told AD: “I remain convinced that Antony has the potential to play for this club. He has certainly shown that potential in the first month.
“He scored three goals in his first three games. After that, things got more complicated. Last season was not a good one.”
Having not travelled with Brazil to the Copa America, Antony has returned to Manchester United’s pre-season training, although he has missed the team’s friendlies against Rosenborg and Rangers.
Antony will compete with the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho and Amad Diallo for a starting place on the right flank this season.
