Boxing has been a staple of the modern Olympic calendar for the past 120 years and will be back at the Paris Games in 2024. The tournament will be televised on NBC (Peacock) in the US and the BBC in the UK.
With the exception of the 1912 Games in Sweden, boxing has been present at every Olympics since 1904. The sport was banned in Sweden and therefore removed from the calendar, but returned in 1916 when the Games were held in Berlin.

Olympic boxing begins on Saturday, July 27 and concludes on Saturday, August 10.
Where will boxing be held at the Paris Olympics?
Most of the boxing matches will be held at the Arena Nord Paris, although some of the semi-finals and all of the finals will be held at Rolland-Garros. This change will take place on Tuesday 6 August.
How many weight classes will there be at the Paris Olympics?
In Paris 2024, there will be 13 weight categories, seven for men and six for women.
There will be 249 boxers (125 men and 124 women).
