The tournament, which brings together all MLS and Liga MX clubs in one massive competition, pauses the regular season in both leagues to host this growing event.

A year ago, Lionel Messi led his team, Inter Miami, to the club’s first ever major trophy in his debut for the club. This season, Messi is battling an injury but hopes to be available to keep The Herons alive in their quest to defend their title.

How to watch Leagues Cup 2024 in the US and around the world

Viewers around the world will be able to watch the entire 2024 Leagues Cup on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Subscribers will be able to access all 77 matches from the opening game on July 26 through to the final on August 25 on the platform.

The MLS Season Pass is currently being offered to new subscribers at a 50 percent discount to reflect that the 2024 season is now half over. It costs $14.99 per month or $49 for the remainder of the season for those who are not already Apple TV+ subscribers, and is being offered at $12.99 per month or $39 for the season for those who already have an active Apple TV+ subscription.

Additionally, select matches will be televised on cable throughout the United States. Fox Sports has the English-language rights to select matches, which will be primarily accessible on FS1, while there will be a Spanish-language broadcast of select matches on Univision channels, including UniMas.

For those games, matches can be streamed on Fubo United Statesthat are offering a free test for new users.


How to watch Leagues Cup matches for free

As with regular season action, Apple TV will make all select Leagues Cup 2024 matches available for free throughout the competition.

It’s difficult to predict how many games will be accessible to non-subscribers, but it will likely be one or two games per week, just like in the regular season.

All games can be found at MLS Season Pass on Apple TVand those that are available for free can be viewed regardless of whether you have a subscription or not.

The other way to watch selected Leagues Cup matches for free is Fubo. Select matches that air on cable via Fox Sports and Unimas (Spanish) will also be shown on Fubo, with the streaming service offering a Free Trial For new subscribers.
