By now it is no longer a secret that Happy Gilmore 2 is in the works, but that doesn’t mean Adam Sandler has revealed everything.
The actor and comedian revealed that Travis Kelce will make an appearance in the film on Tuesday night’s episode of Tonight’s program after host Jimmy Fallon asked the star about possible cameos in the upcoming film.
“We’ve got something good for Travis,” Sandler said, referring to the Super Bowl-winning tight end. “He’s coming.”
“He’s a very nice guy,” Sandler continued. “They would love him in real life. He’s a big, handsome guy. Funny and cool as hell. He’s a stud and very funny.”
Sandler likely didn’t have to convince the football star to take the role. In May, Travis revealed on the show New Heights Podcast he hosts with his brother Jason Kelce, in which he states that he was a big fan of Sandler.
“Man, I didn’t even know there was an opening for…Happy Gilmore 2“Travis said on the podcast. After a brief exchange of banter with his brother, Travis admitted, “I’ll do anything in the movie. I’ll be a part of it in any way I can.”
