Middleweight contenders will collide in Las Vegas when Jared Cannonier takes on Caio Borralho at UFC APEX.

The UFC Vegas 96 main card begins at 10 p.m. ET. Cannonier and Borralho are expected to take to the Octagon around 12:15 a.m. ET, depending on how long the preliminary fights last.
The main card will also feature Angela Hill vs. Tabatha Ricci. Hill is a durable fighter, having competed 13 times since 2020. The former Invicta FC strawweight champion is 2-1 in her last three fights and 4-1 in her previous five. Ricci is 2-1 in her last three fights and has three wins by submission.
Neil Magny takes on Michael Morales. Magny, an Ultimate Fighter alum, owns the most wins (22) in UFC welterweight history and is 2-2 in his last four fights. Morales, an alum of Dana White’s Contender Series, is undefeated and 5-0 in the Octagon.
Also on the card will be the finals of The Ultimate Fighter 32. Ryan Loder takes on Robert Valentin Frey in middleweight action, while Kaan Ofli and Mairon Santos compete in featherweight action.

Prelims ahead of the main card include Road to UFC alum and kickboxing champion Wang Cong taking on Victoria Leonardo, who is 1-3 in her last four fights. Dana White’s Contender Series alum Zachary Reese, who is 2-1 in the Octagon, takes on Jose Medina, who lost his six-fight unbeaten streak on DWCS.

Cannonier is 10-7 in the Octagon since 2015. In 2022, he challenged and lost to Israel Adesanya for the UFC middleweight title. Since then, he is 2-1 in his last three fights and has ten wins by knockout. Borralho competed twice on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021. “The Natural” knocked out Paul Craig in May to add to his five knockout wins.
The middleweight pision is stacked with fights: Cannonier is ranked fifth, while Borralho is 12th. A win for either of them, especially Borralho, could catapult them to the top of the rankings.
