Niantic has unveiled Triumph Together, an event that will task Pokemon Go players around the world with working together to complete a series of global challenges.
During Triumph Together, players will have to complete different challenges based on the game’s three teams: Valor, Instinct, and Mystic. Completing one of them will unlock the next one, as well as bonuses that will last until the end of the event.
Given the nature of Triumph Together and its rewards, players should be aware of each challenge so they can help the community unlock all the bonuses as quickly as possible. Here’s everything you need to know about the Triumph Together event.
Triumph Together Dates and Times
The Pokémon Go Together Triumph event runs from From Friday, August 23 at 3:00 PM to Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:59 PM PDT.
Due to the nature of the event, its start and end times are based on Pacific Time rather than your local time zone.

Global Valor Challenge and Rewards
Challenge: Defeat 75,000,000 Team GO Rocket members.
Bonus active during the challenge:
- Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
Awards:
- A special Team Valor-themed Timed Research opportunity that leads to an encounter with Ponyta wearing a Candela-themed accessory*
- 2× XP for spinning PokéStops
- Instinct Global Challenge is unlocked!
Note that the Ponyta has a chance to be Shiny.
Global Instinct Challenge and Rewards
Challenge: Hatch 20,000,000 eggs.
Bonus active during the challenge:
- 1/2 egg hatch distance when eggs are placed in incubators during the event
- The following Pokémon hatch from 7 km Eggs, with those that have a chance of appearing as Shiny being marked with an asterisk.
- Make-up wearing a party hat*
- Slug*
- Slakoth wearing a visor*
- Little*
- Komala*
- Togedemaru*
Awards:
- A special Team Instinct-themed Timed Research opportunity that leads to an encounter with Elekid wearing a Spark-themed accessory*
- 2× Stardust to hatch eggs
- Unlocking the Mystic Global Challenge
As with the Valor Challenge Special Ponyta, this Elekid also has a chance to be Shiny.
Mystical World Challenge and Rewards
Challenge: Complete 35,000,000 Field Research tasks.
Bonus active during the challenge:
- Field research tasks on the theme of the event will be available.
- The following Pokémon can be encountered by completing Field Research tasks, with those that have a chance of appearing as Shiny being marked with an asterisk.

- Beldum*
- Tirtouga*
- Archean*
- Canardlett*
- Emolga*
- Tynamo*
- Goomy*
- Crabouilleur*
- Tandemaus
Awards:
- A special Team Mystic-themed Timed Research opportunity that leads to an encounter with Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory*
- Two XL Candies guaranteed to evolve Pokémon
Like the other rewards, this Snow-themed Lapras has a chance to be shiny.
Paid Timed Search Triumph Together
There will be a paid Timed Research for Triumph Together that will cost $5 (or local equivalent). Purchasing it will earn you the following rewards:
- Two Premium Battle Passes
- A rocket radar
- A great incubator
- A decoy module
- Meet Pokémon in Team Leader-themed costumes – and more
As this is a timed search, All rewards must be earned and claimed before the event ends on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:59 PM PDT.
