Juventus are reportedly preparing a loan offer for Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho.

England international Sancho looked set to be reintroduced into Erik ten Hag’s plans for the 2024/25 campaign after a summer meeting between the pair.

Ten Hag has ended the former Borussia Dortmund star’s exile with Red Devils fans convinced he will be a key asset in the coming months.

However, ten Hag offered a lukewarm response to his decision to omit Sancho from the matchday squad for United’s 2-1 Premier League defeat at Brighton & Hove Albion.

It follows United’s absence from their first game of the season, at home to Fulham, with both player and manager looking unlikely to work together again.

Besides interest from French champions PSG, Sancho is also on the radar of Juventus, who are potentially looking to replace Barcelona-bound Federico Chiesa.

According to the latest news from the Italian media The Gazette dello Sport, Sancho is on Juventus’ shortlist but he is not the only option for the Turin giants and United will have to make concessions to secure another loan departure.

Sancho’s £9.8 million ($13 million) annual salary is currently a stumbling block, with Juventus asking United to pay a percentage of that amount over the life of the loan, with the unconfirmed addition of a buy-out clause.
