The Brandon Aiyuk trade/extension saga continues to drag on as the 2024 regular season approaches and there appears to be no end in sight.
THE San Francisco 49ers hope to keep Aiyuk with an extension, but both sides appear fail to reach an agreement. Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers are in wait-and-see mode because they would have had an exchange in place with San Francisco, as well as a contract offer for Aiyuk, but the Niners won’t budge.
Then there is the Washington Commanderswho might be waiting in the shadows, ready to pounce, according to the Michael Silver, San Francisco Chronicles.

Update: General manager John Lynch said he expected Aiyuk to practice Wednesday, but as of this writing, there has been no sign of him on the practice field. Lynch also sounded a bit frustrated when talking about Aiyuk.
