Here’s an overview of how to create or import draft classes in NBA 2K25 MyNBA.
NBA 2K25 added new features to team management in this year’s game, with the RPG theme My GM But MyNBA, which allows for a much broader view of the league and online competition, will be present in 2K25, as will other titles.
Much like Madden and NHL, 2K Team allows players to create their own custom draft classes. This is an important feature for those looking for realism, as accurate draft classes cannot be added to 2K due to licensing issues.
Here’s an overview of how MyNBA players can create or import a draft class.
How to import and download a class draft
You can import a draft class into NBA 2K25 just before the start of the regular season.
When you start MyNBA, you will be greeted with three different options:
- Automatic generation of recruits
- Create/edit a class draft
- Upload/Download Class Draft
Select one of the three options.

Automatic recruit generation allows the computer to randomly generate recruits, including positions and overall values.
Alternatively, players can choose to create or edit a currently available draft class. It should be noted that players can create one before starting a MyNBA save file. Go to “Features” on the home screen and select the “Create Draft Class” box. Players will be able to customize a historical draft class, create a brand new one, or simply download one from the 2K servers.
NBA 2K25 players can import a draft class either directly into MyNBA or in the “Create Draft Class” area. Simply select one, then when the option appears in MyNBA, choose the appropriate draft class. It’s worth noting that at launch, there were a slew of 2025, 2026, and 2027 draft classes available. Additionally, the “Hot” section is sorted by number of downloads.
