With your Steam Deck and Decky Loader in tow, playing Epic Games Store games on Steam Deck has never been easier thanks to the Junk-Store plugin.
One of the Steam Deck’s main selling points is that it provides access to a massive library of Steam games, and many PC gamers have built up a sizable collection of these games over the years. Some might like to be able to play games from the Epic Store on the Steam Deck, and there is a way to do that.
Fortunately, the process is relatively simple. Thanks to the new Junk-Store plugin, available via Decky Loader, your Epic Game Store games can be integrated into your Steam Deck game library.
To fully unlock the potential of your Steam Deck and access your full library of PC games, we’ve outlined all the steps you need to get started.
How to install Epic Games with Junk-Store plugin
- Install Decky Loader on Steam Deck
- Open Decky by pressing the “Quick Access” button
- Scroll down to access the socket icon
- Select the shop icon
- Search for “junk” in the text box
- Select installation
- Back to Decky Loader
- Select “Junk-Store”
- Go to the “About” section in the Junk-Store plugin
- Scroll down to dependencies
- Click on “Install Dependencies”
- Back to the flea market menu
- Select “Games”
- Select Login and enter your Epic Games login information
To play Epic Games Store games on Steam Deck even more easily, you can install Junk-Store. Junk-Store is a free downloadable Decky Loader plugin that allows you to install Epic Games and add them to your game mode library.

To install the Junk-Store plugin, you will need to have Decky Loader installed on your Steam Deck. Luckily, we already have a Decky Loader guide, to make this process as easy as possible. Once Decky Loader is installed, tap the Quick Access button, represented by three dots on the right side of your device.
In the newly opened drop-down menu, scroll down to the Decky Loader icon, which is represented by a plug image. Now select the small shop icon, which will load the Decky Loader plugin shop.
In the plugin store, search for “junk” in the text box and click install once the Junk-Store plugin appears. Go back to Decky Loader on your device and select the newly listed Junk-Store plugin. In the Junk-Store plugin menu, go to “About” and select it.

On this page, scroll down to the “Dependencies” option and click “Install Dependencies” at the top of the screen. If you see a blank page, go back and try again. Restarting your Steam Deck can also help start the process.

If you don’t have Proton Easy Anti Cheat or Proton BattlEye installed on your Steam Deck, you can install them here. If you already have them on your handheld, their installation boxes will be grayed out.
Head back to the Junk-Store plugin menu and navigate to “Games.” From there, you can log in with your Epic Games Store credentials by clicking the small login box. If you’re having trouble entering your login credentials, remember that you can bring up the Steam Deck’s built-in keyboard by pressing the Steam button and X simultaneously.
Now, the next time you access the Games section of Junk-Store, you will be able to install your favorite Epic Games Store games. All the games in your Epic Games Store library, including titles like Fall Guys that are not currently available on the Steam platform, will appear.

To download Epic Games Store games to your deck, simply select the game you want to play, followed by the “Install Game” option.
