With the release of Black Ops 6, a new era has dawned in Warzone. From the omnimovement to an arsenal of new weapons, there are plenty of new features on the way, and here’s when the games are ready to get in on the action.
Treyarch is back at the helm of this year’s new CoD installment. The highly anticipated Black Ops 6 is just around the corner and players have already gotten a taste of it thanks to the beta period.
But what does the arrival of Black Ops 6 mean for Warzone? On the one hand, we know that the hugely popular battle royale is set to receive a wide range of quality-of-life improvements. We also know that a brand new map is on the way, with Area 99 joining the rotation.
But when will all this become a reality? Fear not, you still have some time to prepare for the integration of Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

When is Warzone coming to Black Ops 6?
While we don’t have an exact date for the integration yet, we know for sure that Warzone will be crossover with Black Ops 6 as soon as Season 1 releases.
Traditionally, the first seasonal update for any new CoD title arrives about a month after launch. With Black Ops 6 releasing on October 25, the Season 1 update should be available towards the end of November.
Below is a rundown of when recent CoD games hit stores, compared to when their Season 1 updates went live:
- Modern Warfare (2019): Game launch October 25th – Season 1 update December 3rd (39 days gap)
- Black Ops Cold War (2020): Game launches November 13th – Season 1 update December 16th (33 days gap)
- Avant-garde (2021): Game launches November 5th – Season 1 update December 8th (33 days gap)
- Modern Warfare 2 (2022): Game launches October 28th – Season 1 update November 16th (19 day gap)
- Modern Warfare 3 (2023): Game launches November 10th – Season 1 update December 6th (26 days gap)
While Modern Warfare 2 bucked the trend somewhat by launching its first season more quickly, don’t expect the same for Black Ops 6. The average gap between these titles is 30 days, or a full month.
So we can probably place the launch of Black Ops 6, and with it the big Warzone integration, between November 22 and 29. Of course, we’ll keep you updated here once Activision’s plans are set in stone.
