Colin Cowherd made an interesting comparison between the NBA and the NFL, which makes sense when you think about it. The FOX Sports personality claims that Luka Doncic is the Josh Allen of the NBA.
“Luka is too much Luka. He still leads the NBA in usage rate. If the NFL had that, Josh Allen would lead the league in usage rate. Last year the Bills scored 58 touchdowns, he had 51 touchdowns.” said Cowherd.

The Celtics said they liked Jayson Tatum, he was a first-team All-NBA player, but they were going to look at working with him. Dallas is still trying to work it out with the Mavericks,” Cowherd said.
Allen and the Bills could be at their best this season when Allen doesn’t have to be Supermanand they’re already showing signs that they want to move further in that direction. Dallas would be wise to try using the same approach next season.
With Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson on the roster, the Mavericks have the tools to take their star player back. Irving is quite capable of running an offense for stretches because he’s always one of the best Players around the league are capable of creating their own shots. Thompson isn’t a high-usage player, but he’s a high-volume shooter who can take some of Doncic’s scoring burden off his shoulders.
It’s an interesting comparison between sports. If Buffalo can get its star quarterback back this year, Dallas would be wise to steal that chance. Doncic was physically exhausted by the time they reached the NBA Finals last year, and if he had been fresh, that might have been enough to give them the upper hand.
