Moze is the new 4-star Lightning Hunt Sub-DPS character that focuses on single-target follow-up attacks, released in Version 2.5. She is a powerful sub-DPS and a valuable asset to Feixiao teams in Honkai Star Rail. If you plan on supporting Moze, you will need her Ascension and Trace Upgrade materials. The majority of Moze’s materials can be easily pre-farmed in Penacony and Xianzhou Luofu, with only her Stagnant Shadow and Echo of War materials being locked since the release of version 2.5. Here is a complete farming guide for Moze’s Ascension and Trace materials.
Artifex Materials Group: Agriculture Guide

You can harvest the Artifex material group by defeating enemies and clearing Calyx (Golden) in Xianzhou Luofu. These materials can also be easily obtained from daily missions. You can also synthesize them from other similar materials.
Chalice (Crimson) Materials: Meteoric Bullet, Destined Expiration, Counter-Time Shot Slot

These Moze materials can be obtained from the Hunting Bud: Soulglad Scorch Sand Hearing Location. You can find this Calyx (Crimson) in the Soulglad Scorch Sand Hearing Location in Penacony. The enemies in this Hunting Bud are the various enemy types of the Dreamjolt Troupe.
Stagnant Shadow Material: Beast’s Coffin Nail
The Stagnant Shadow material “Nail of the Beast Coffin” has not yet been released. It will be available after the release of HSR version 2.5, as revealed during the 2.5 livestream. This material will be available in Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Mechwolf once version 2.5 is released.
Echo of War Material: Auspice Shard
The Echo of War material “Auspice Sliver” is also not currently available in the game and will be released in version 2.5. This material can be harvested in the upcoming Echo of War: Inner Beast’s Battlefield. Echo of War bosses can only be harvested three times per week, so make sure to harvest Moze’s materials first if you want to build it.
