Ayaneo has officially entered the US market after launching two portable consoles from its catalog for the first time on Best Buy.
From the Slide to the Flip DS, Ayaneo has released a steady stream of its handheld gaming consoles. However, each device was only available through crowdfunding pages or on Ayaneo’s website.
Today, for the first time, the boutique tech brand launched two of its wearables on Best Buy, marking the first time Ayaneo has officially entered the U.S. retail market.
The Ayaneo KUN and Next Lite are the two handheld consoles that Ayaneo has chosen for its Best Buy debut. The KUN is the more expensive of the two, at $999, and was previously only available on IndieGoGo.
The Ayaneo KUN features a similar design to a Steam Deck, but is equipped with Hall Effect joysticks and a massive 8.4-inch IPS display. The handheld console is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U, one of the most popular portable chipsets at the moment.
Best Buy’s version of the Windows-powered handheld console also comes with 116GB of RAM, paired with a 512GB SSD for downloading all your favorite PC games.

The Ayaneo Next Lite is also available now at Best Buy for $399. The more affordable of the two devices, the Next Lite also features hall-sensing joysticks and triggers, but with a smaller screen.
The more compact device features a 7-inch True Color IPS display and is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 4800U processor. While it’s also a Windows-based handheld, the Next Lite only has a 47Wh battery, compared to the KUN’s 75Wh.
Unlike IndieGogo, there is no option to choose between a higher storage version for either device. However, this could change over time.
In the meantime, even though the handheld consoles are available in limited capacity, Ayaneo fans can take full advantage of Best Buy’s services, including easier access to returns.
Over time, more and more Ayaneo handheld consoles will become available at Best Buy, especially for those who have their eyes on the upcoming Ayaneo Pocket DMG or Ayaneo Pocket Micro.
