The race to find the legendary One Piece treasure and earn the title of Pirate King has truly begun after Vegapunk’s message. So, here’s what we know about the power that comes with it.
“Wealth, glory, and power,” the opening monologue of the anime series remains relevant today. Everyone who sets out to sea in pursuit of the legendary One Piece treasure is looking for these three things and the title of Pirate King.
This also includes Monkey D. Luffy, the protagonist of the story who has the same dream as countless other pirates. However, Luffy is really close to acquiring the treasure since he already has a copy of three Road Poneglyphs.
Once Luffy meets the Flame-Scarred Man and finds the fourth Road Poneglyph, he can set sail for Laughtale. However, that won’t be the end of the story. In his message, Vegapunk says that whoever obtains the One Piece will obtain this “power.” But what power is he talking about?
One Piece Gives Pirate King Control of Ancient Weapons

According to a Japanese translator on Twitter/X, “In Japanese, demonstrative pronouns like ‘その – this’ can be ambiguous and can refer to a wide range of things. In this case, it’s probably the power of ancient weapons.
In other words, Koala interprets it as… “the person who finds the One Piece will also gain control of the Ancient Weapons.” Whether Koala’s interpretation is correct remains to be seen.
The three ancient weapons are indestructible weapons that sank the world over 800 years ago. Vegapunk says that the Great War is not over yet and these powers will be used again. So far, the story has revealed Poseidon and Pluto. Shirahoshi or some might call him Poseidon, is unable to use his powers at will. On the other hand, Pluto is hidden in Wano and no one knows how to use him.
Uraunus’ form and powers remain unknown. It is also unknown whether Uranus is a living being like Poseidon or a man-made object like Pluto. So, while the series has introduced ancient weapons, no one can truly control him yet.
Laughtale is believed to hold the true secret of the past. Therefore, he might hold the key to using the ancient weapons. Luffy’s true dream is something that he can only achieve after becoming the Pirate King. Therefore, once he gains the “power” after finding the One Piece, a war will begin that will shake the world to its roots.

Laugh Tale is located at the edge of the New World and contains the wealth and power that the entire world craves. Roger’s Pirates are the only ones to have found this place in over 800 years. The last island accessible by following the Log Pose is Lodestar.
However, beyond this island lies Laugh Tale, where Roger left all his treasures. The only way to get there is to find the four road poneglyphs. Each poneglyph contains the coordinates of a location. By joining these four locations on a map, the interaction point will indicate the location of Laugh Tale.
