The Jujutsu Kaisen manga is coming to an end, but it could still bring Gojo back – and there’s already been a hint that the beloved character will return.
As the Jujutsu Kaisen manga comes to an end, we have witnessed the defeat of the King of Curses. The manga also reunited the first-year students with Yuta, who is still alive even after using the Kenjaku technique.
The series is set to end with Chapter 271. However, even though we are so close to the end, Gojo has yet to have a proper funeral. It is also unknown what happened to his body after Yuta returned.
Fans have been waiting for his return since the day he died, and they still haven’t given up hope. Today, they’ve highlighted an easter egg that could confirm that Gojo’s return is indeed planned.
One fan wrote: “The clock says 2:21. And remember this happened in 221. GOJO IS COMING BACK SOON.”
The fan explained: “The second hand appears to be at about 28, moving toward 29 – recall that Gojo’s new age was confirmed at 29 in the jjk exhibit, the age that Buddha left to find enlightenment, instead of being listed as dead… just like Nobara.”
A fan replied, “If Gojo is shown alive, what was the point of his death if it wasn’t so his students could live and learn without him.”
“If he gets up again, I’ll finish reading this shit that I promised never to open again in my life.” another commented
A third added: “Look, I love Gojo, but I think it’s really interesting how every old special level wizard died to allow new ones to come in, like he wanted, so keep him dead lol.”
“I think Gojo coming back would be extremely ridiculous (even though I hated his ending), but I have to respect these people, they really do notice the funniest things,” said one fourth also wrote.
The Jujutsu Kaisen manga will release two more chapters before it ends, so keep an eye out for the release date of the final chapter. For more on dark sorcery, take a look at JJK’s unsatisfying ending and our list of the 10 most powerful sorcerers of the modern era.
