Drivers, start your engines. The United States Grand Prix is about to begin.
Formula 1 returns to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin in October. The 53rd running of the cup, it is the oldest F1 race in the United States, with Miami and Las Vegas joining the party in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
As the sport continues to grow in the United States, the Grand Prix has become a crucial part of it, with concerts from some of the biggest stars in music. This time around, Eminem and Sting will be on track to make the race one to remember. COTA, which has hosted the race since 2012, has a track that offers drivers plenty of opportunities to get the better of the competition, making for an exciting Sunday afternoon.
The real question is whether anyone can stop Max Verstappen. The Dutch driver has won three consecutive races in Austin and has already won seven races in 2024. His biggest competitor comes from Lewis Hamilton, a six-time winner of the race with four consecutive victories from 2014 to 2017.
With just a handful of races left in 2024 in Formula 1, drivers have a chance to take the lead in Austin, making it a must-see track for both new and seasoned F1 fans. Here’s how to get tickets to the United States Grand Prix in October.
