Menu lag in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team is frustrating and prevents players from completing simple tasks. Fortunately, there is a simple fix that resolves the issue.
EA FC 25 Ultimate Team has been plagued by lag issues in the menus, and misjudged price ranges have only added to the frustrations. Several meta cards have disappeared for days because the maximum price was far below their actual value.
So when a player tried to get a missing card from the transfer market before another user bought it, the delay made that task more difficult. EA listened to the feedback and fixed the price ranges, but didn’t fix the problem.
Fortunately, there is a simple workaround that allows players to take matters into their own hands.

- Load the EA FC 25 main menu.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper left, called “Personalize.’
- Click on “Settings‘and then’Game Settings.’
- Press RB (Xbox) or R1 (PlayStation) to access ‘Graphics mode.’
- Select ‘Resolution of favor” on the Graphics Mode Settings option.
Both graphics modes target 60 frames per second, which results in a responsive gameplay experience. However, the enhanced visuals add additional graphical features that have an unintended impact on the speed of Ultimate Team’s menus.
Changing this setting to Favor Resolution removes these extra features and improves the overall menu scrolling experience.
During matches, you will no longer benefit from the improved lighting thanks to ray tracing, but being able to use menus faster is arguably more important.
EA has yet to release an official statement on the menu lag issues in Ultimate Team, but we will provide an update if a fix is made.
