Berserk is finally back, continuing Guts’ epic quest, but when will you be able to check out Chapter 377?
Berserk made a triumphant return following the death of its creator Kentaro Miura. His close friend and colleague, Kouji Mori, takes the helm and continues the fan-favorite Seinen manga. Between two of the finest animated series ever centered on Guts, his story has become one of the most enduring in anime and manga.
Berserk began in 1989, making it a long-running story that has captivated fans ever since. Several years have passed since Guts and his companions restored Casca’s mind, thanks to the mystical inhabitants of Elfhelm. However, as soon as she comes to her senses, Griffith kidnaps her.
The events that occurred later left Guts emotionally devastated. However, he didn’t have much time to cry or come up with a plan to save her before he was chained up and seemingly headed east with his companions. Warning: spoilers ahead!
Is there a release date for Berserk Chapter 377?
Berserk Chapter 377 does not have a release date, but it is in the works. Artist Drache Doratan confirmed that the manuscript was submitted in June 2024 and said he expected publication “soon.”
This follows a substantial break leading up to Chapter 376, so hopefully after this delay some sort of normalcy can be restored to the Berserk timeline.
What happens in Berserk chapter 376?
The chapter begins with a color spread featuring Guts and Puck looking at the Kushan Empire. The manga shows the Empire for the first time. The story picks up where it left off in the previous chapter as we see Guts being swept into the water before seeing an ethereal form, Schierke, holding his hands and pulling him along.
We then see him chained as he regains consciousness. However, Schierke is lying on a bed and seems to have sunk too deep into the astral realm. Silat sympathizes with the mages, knowing what it is like to lose their homeland.
Guts’ group, the mages and Kushan have only one thing in common: revenge on Griffith. The Kushans prepare to launch all-out war against Griffith. However, both sides have their pros and cons.
