Ahead of the heavyweight boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, Netflix will premiere a documentary series called Countdown: Paul vs Tyson.
Jake Paul, 27, and Mike Tyson, 58, will finally face off in their long-awaited match on Friday, November 15.
Netflix will stream the fight live from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and the boxing event is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. ET.
But before the fight officially begins, Netflix plans to launch a short documentary series focused on the match.
Titled Countdown: Paul vs Tyson, the three-episode series will offer a behind-the-scenes look at each fighter’s training camp and give viewers “intimate access” to both competitors.

Netflix will start streaming the the first two episodes of Countdown on Thursday November 7; the third and final episode will be posted online on Tuesday, November 12
As such, the docuseries will conclude just three days before The Problem Child and the Baddest Man on the Planet face off in the ring.

However, the countdown will not focus exclusively on the headlining Paul vs. Tyson match. Those tuning in can also expect the docuseries to cover the upcoming women’s boxing fight. match between welterweight champion Katie Taylor and featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano.
Taylor and Serrano will also face off on Friday, November 15 at AT&T Stadium, marking their second meeting in the ring. Netflix will also stream this fight live.
Even though Jake Paul said Mike Tyson wasn’t his first choice for the Netflix fight, it quickly became one of the most anticipated events of the year. And the streamer’s attempt to capitalize on the enthusiasm with a three-episode documentary series will likely increase the hype tenfold.
