How to get Galarian Weezing in Pokemon Go
This toxic Pokémon can be quite difficult to obtain, as it does not normally appear in the wild. Currently, players can evolve Koffing into Galarian Weezing through the Legendary Heroes event.which goes from From September 26 to October 1.
Typically, the only way to get Galarian Weezing in the game is to defeat him in 3-star raid battles.so you usually have to wait for raid rotations or special events to get one.
Previously, players could get it as a reward for completing field research tasks such as “Win 2 Raids: Timeless Journeys” or special/timed research tasks such as “Flickering Guard: Timed Research – Part 1: hatch 2 eggs.
Can Galarian Weezing be shiny in Pokemon Go?
Yes, Shiny Galarian Weezing is available in Pokemon Goas the game added during a August 2021 Event. Unlike its original gray appearance, the Shiny version has a brownish body but still emits green smoke.
During the Ultra Space Wonders event, players will have a higher chance of finding a Shiny Galarian Weezing in 3-star raid battles, so keep challenging this creature until you find it.
How to Evolve Koffing into Galarian Weezing in Pokemon Go
In the main games, any Koffing evolved in the Galar region will transform into Galarian Weezing. However, in Pokemon Go, evolving a Koffing will always result in a regular Weezing.
Outside of events, no evolution method will turn a Koffing into a Galarian Weezing in Pokemon Goas the only way to gain this regional variation is through raid battles.
In events where it can be obtained via evolution, you only need to use 50 Koffing Candy – the same amount needed for Kantoian Weezing.
You’ll be able to see Weezing’s silhouette or sprite before evolving him, so you’ll clearly know what form you’re getting.
Keep in mind that During Legendary Heroes, Koffing will only evolve into Galarian Weezing.
