Dallas has won each of the last six meetings between the two teams. Last season, the Cowboys dominated New York by a total of 72 points. But it’s the Giants who enter Thursday’s game with momentum, buoyed by a heartwarming win over the Browns on Sunday.
Rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers, the sixth overall pick in the April NFL Draft out of LSU, continues to establish himself as one of the best young players in the league. Nabers had two Sunday touchdowns in the week after catching 10 passes for 127 yards against the Commanders.
Dallas will rely on its own star receiver to help its offense break out. In August, CeeDee Lamb signed a four-year contract extension worth $136 million to remain with the team and end an offseason; he only has one touchdown in the first three games.
But Lamb did well against the Giants. Last November, he had 11 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown in a dominating Cowboys victory.
