The Titans are looking to break into the win column this season during Week 4’s ‘Monday Night Football’ matchup vs. Miami, but an early injury to QB Will Leavis has made that job all the more difficult.
Levis has become a meme this season from the various reactions he has when getting hit by defenders. Nobody was laughing when he took a big hit in the first half and came up slowly while favoring his throwing arm. Levis was wincing in pain and trying to rotate his shoulder to loosen it up,

Will Levis injury update
Levis was originally deemed “questionable” to return on Monday night. He was getting his neck, chest, and shoulder checked out on the sideline by trainers, and he was officially diagnosed with a shoulder injury.

Levis stayed on the sideline with his helmet but he did not return. Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph came in for the second-year QB but largely deferred to the running game in the win.
Titans coach Brian Callahan said after the game that Levis would undergo an MRI for a potential AC Joint injury. Callahan added that Levis is the team’s starter when healthy.

Callahan was asked by Laura Rutledge about Levis’ status heading into halftime. He basically said that if Levis can play, he will, but otherwise it’ll be Mason.

Some teams carry a third quarterback on their practice squad to use as an emergency option, but it’s notable that Tennessee does not utilize this.
Veteran Mason Rudolph started 13 games in his four-year stint with the Steelers, going 8-4-1 in those contests. He’s well-suited to handle starting duties for as long as Levis remains out — either because of injury or because of coach’s preference.
