After the New England Patriots dropped their sixth straight game on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London, they’ve returned back home to host the New York Jets in Week 8 at Gillette Stadium.

New England and New York already met once this season, with the Jets winning the first matchup handily. Since then, neither team has won, and New York’s fired their coach and brought in an All-Pro wide receiver.

As the Patriots prepare for the matchup, New England held practice on Wednesday on the fields behind their home stadium. 15 players appeared on their first injury report of the week.

Seven players were non-participants – linebacker Curtis Jacobs (knee/illness), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (shoulder/knee), offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (ankle), wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk (concussion), guard Layden Robinson (ankle), running back Rhamondre Stevenson (foot/personal) and defensive end Keion White (ankle).

Safety Kyle Dugger (ankle), cornerback Jonathan Jones (shoulder), guard Michael Jordan (ankle), safety Marte Mapu (neck), guard Sidy Sow (illness) and linebacker Sione Takitaki (knee) were listed as limited.

Full participants included quarterback Drake Maye (knee) and wide receiver Kendrick Bourne (knee).

For the Jets, five players were non-participants – safety Tony Adams (hamstring), safety Ashtyn Davis (concussion), defensive lineman Leki Fotu (knee), wide receiver Allen Lazard (chest) and offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker (ankle).

Cornerback Michael Carter II (back), defensive lineman Will McDonald IV (shoulder), offensive lineman Morgan Moses (knee), quarterback Aaron Rodgers (knee/hamstring), offensive tackle Tyron Smith (veteran rest) and linebacker Quincy Williams were limited.

Their full participants included tight end Tyler Conklin (neck), cornerback D.J. Reed (groin), linebacker Chazz Surratt (heel) and tight end Kenny Yeboah (abdomen).
