The Cincinnati Bengals dominated their way to a 41-21 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday and now have a chance to make a run during the second half.

Before that arrives, though, the NFL trade deadline will be here Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. ET, and the Bengals are expected to be surprising buyers.

While it’s well-known Cincinnati will be looking to add some pass-rush help to give a boost next to Trey Hendrickson, there’s also another area the Bengals reportedly are targeting.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, the Bengals have had talks on potentially adding a running back to work in the rotation alongside Chase Brown and Zack Moss.

It would be a mild surprise to see the Bengals exchange their resources at the running back position. Even with Moss dealing with a neck injury, there are bigger needs on the roster.

Brown is coming off the best game of his career on Sunday when he posted 27 carries for 120 rushing yards along with five receptions for 37 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The second-year running back has been efficient with his opportunities, averaging 4.6 yards per carry, and he’s taken over the lead role from Moss over the last two months.

Whether the Bengals target a player like Khalil Herbert remains to be seen, but this is something to keep an eye on as the deadline arrives.
