Coming off of a great win in Miami against the Heat Friday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder travel back to the Paycom Center for the first time in over two weeks.
While their opponent currently ranks amongst the worst in the association, the Thunder hope to add onto their two-game win streak in front of their home fans.

The OKC Thunder will take on the Washington Wizards at home today, Dec. 23, at 9:00 PM EST/8:00 PM CST as well as on FanDuel Sports Network – Oklahoma.

Injuries
For Oklahoma City, Chet Holmgren (hip), Jaylin Williams (hamstring) and Nikola Topic (ACL) are all out for tonight’s game.
As for Washington, Saddiq Bey is out with a knee injury and Kyle Kuzma is listed as day-to-day with a rib injury.
What to know
When it comes to these two franchises, they could not be further from one another. The Thunder, who sit in first place in the Western Conference with a record of 22-5, have had lofty title and overall ‘success’ expectations the entire season.
For the Wizards, sitting in last place in the East with a record of 4-22, they are in the midst of rebuilding and hoping for a first-overall pick in this upcoming draft.
This game may not be very competitive as not only are the two teams drastically different in skill level, but Washington hasn’t beaten OKC since the 2021-22 season, so history is not on their side either.
Overall, this game should help build upon the Thunder’s confidence after their 104-97 victory over the Miami Heat. Leading the charge in a major bounce-back fashion was Jalen Williams, who scored 33 points on 57% three-point shooting while also putting up six rebounds and four assists.
Loud City should anticipate yet another great performance from JDub and the rest of the Thunder squad.
