The Rams removed all suspense in the NFC West in Week 17, with some help from three teams. Wins by the Bills, Vikings, and Commanders clinched the strength of victory advantage for L.A. over the Seahawks, punching the Rams’ ticket to the playoffs.

Week 18 is expected to be much quieter for L.A., as Sean McVay plans to rest key starters against the Seahawks in hopes of entering the playoffs as fresh as possible.

The Rams can’t be knocked out of the playoff, but they still have seeding at stake and don’t know their opponent for the wild-card round.

The Rams clinched the NFC West in Week 17 and eliminated the Seahawks, making Sunday’s game meaningless for both sides outside of seeding implications for L.A.

The Rams are still a divisional champion, so they’ll have the privilege of hosting a Wild Card game. Matthew Stafford and company are looking for their first playoff victory since winning the Super Bowl in 2021.

Rams fans and those in the organization will be scoreboard watching during “Sunday Night Football”. This NFC North clash between the Lions and Vikings will determine the No. 1 and No. 5 seed in the NFC, with the loser of this game facing Los Angeles in the opening round of the playoffs.
